One of my must have treats during the fall is the local apple orchard's fresh apple cider doughnuts. Ohhhh boy. They are so delicious! I wanted to recreate it, so here it is!
 
Apple Cider Doughnut Cupcake! The Browned Butter Cake is supposed to mimic the taste of that golden, fried exterior of a doughnut. The Vanilla Frosting is supposed to be the flavor of the glaze. And it's sprinkled with my own combination of Apple Cider Spices.
